Only for the newer versions of the Daytona 116515 (ivory dial and chocolate arabic dials) that came on OF with the new deployment clasp will have interchangeable leather straps (if your AD can order them - you will have to provide the serial #).I'm looking at the new Daytona oysterflex watch and I have a few questions about the oysterf. I'm looking at the new Daytona oysterflex watch and I have a few questions about the oysterflex size itself. I've done a bit of research and looked at pics of the AD's size paper tool and from what I can see I'm between sizes on the 12 o'clock side.
If the Daytona watch case measures 42.5 mm from pin to pin and the buckle measures 30.5 mm between the default pins, the E - F straps can be too large. The E strap measures 55 mm and the F strap 60 mm, for a total of 125 mm.

Rolex suggests having the shorter strap on the 6 o'clock side and longer on the 12 but some people have used two E's so you can use any strap length on any side. Original Oysterflex straps that first came out had the two letter configuration E-D, E-E, E-F etc. Just wanted to share my experience with retrofitting an OysterFlex band. There's always been a lot of questions about sizing, I thought I'd post some pics to help out others who are looking to do the same but are scared to drop cash on the wrong size bands. So here's what I have. Sizes of the OysterFlex bands include C, D, E, F, G and H I believe.

Oysterflex sizing. I recently acquired a Daytona 116515LN from a grey dealer, and the watch came with F straps on both sides. My wrist is 6.5" and currently way too loose to wear, even with easy link in the shortest setting. As you stated, if you already own a watch that already comes on the OF straps (20mm lug width), then you can supply that serial # to them with the size and the AD can order the straps for you. (the part # you would want is 218-105-xx (where XX is your size, D, E ,F etc))
Oysterflex on Ceramic Submariner 114060. Well after trying my Oysterflex on my Daytona I decided to try it on my Ceramic Submariner 114060 as I haven't come across that combo before. There are aftermarket rubber straps, but no one sells an aftermarket OysterFlex strap. When you buy one, don’t have your AD change it and if you aren’t an absolute professional, don’t change it yourself. I have another thread many of you have seen, discussing the possibility of mounting an oysterflex on a daytona with end links to provide the same look of the new WG Daytona on Oysterflex. I've been documenting my process in that thread, but I've received tons of questions about the set up.
