Next Watch - Datejust or JLC Reverso? Rolex General Discussion I strongly suggest you go on try a bunch of Reverso's. They all fit differently and depending on your wrist size/shape it could either feel like an elegant, sculpted mechanical . I've handled more JLC than Rolex, but have had both. It really depends on the watch, but in general, JLC's are dressier and Rolex is the epitome, by and large, of a tool .

JLC is the 36th most recognized Swiss .In my opinion, the Reverso is a more interesting, expressive watch, but only you can decide what works best for you. I do think it would also depend on what else is in your collection, though. A 36mm Datejust is the easiest Rolex to get from an AD (but they are still not easy to get). Fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, blue dial - classic and timeless. But I also like that JLC Reverso a lot - the mono would be my recommendation. You can not go wrong with either of your choices. Rolex GMT or JLC Reverso Tribute as next watch? I’m looking at the next watch and conflicted as to what I should get next. I have most of what I currently want or need: a Seamaster, black and LV Subs, and most recently Daytona Panda.Is Jaeger LeCoultre better than Rolex? I have been recently thinking about getting JLC Reverso Large Small Seconds with manual-winding movement 822/2. When I researched its accuracy, I found it being all over the board ranging from +8 to +30s per day.
In my opinion, the Reverso is a more interesting, expressive watch, but only you can decide what works best for you. I do think it would also depend on what else is in your collection, though. The Reverso Tribute Duoface is a throwback to the first Reverso model from 1931. It features emblematic codes, such as railroad minute tracks, applied hour markers, and sword-shaped or dauphine hands, but in an updated colorway and executed at a level perhaps not quite possible in the 1930s. The watch feels incredibly tight, for starters. Thanks, I think so too. Mine is from 1991 the gold face datejust. The other Rolex is new and I don't know too much about the JLC.
