rolex explorer 1 vs datejust 41 | Rolex model Datejust 41 review rolex explorer 1 vs datejust 41 Right now I would pick the DJ 41 on the Jubilee bracelet and the flutted bezel. Blue or silver dial. A classic that dresses up or down. The Explorer I is a great watch but I would go ND Submariner before I went to the Explorer I. 3. Place a Bid. You can “Bid” on the bag at a price you’re comfortable with, which signals your intent to buy. You can also select the number of days until your bid expires (from 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, or 60). The seller then has the option to accept your “Bid.”. If they’re happy with your “Bid,” the bag is yours.

Ideally the watch I choose would fit in a collection with Submariner and Breitling Avenger. Thanks!

I vote you keep the Explorer, but for a slightly different reason. I like the DJ, but I think it looks best when proportioned smaller than the 41mm case size. To me, the all around casual look is achieved with a more conservative case size (I think the 36mm DJ is perfection). I'm used to a 42mm Explorer II and I like the idea of having a 41mm DJ, but as we all know, 39.5 and 41 are worlds apart in watch sizes. If the DJ41 is actually 38.5 I would lean more towards a DJII or Milgauss. The DJ41 has a case size of 39.5mm. The DJ2 has a case size of just under 41.5mm.

I wanted to do a comparison of these two popular Rolex models - the Explorer and Datejust 41. While they are relatively different watches, I thought it w.

I came close to purchasing the Datejust 41 but never pulled the trigger. That said, the power reserve and movement sounds leaps better so that definitely should be a factor in your decision. If budget is an issue or you’re looking to buy your first Rolex, you can’t go wrong with the Explorer. However, if you’re ready to take your collection up a notch, the Datejust 41 should be a worthy addition. So what do think of this Rolex Explorer vs Datejust comparison review? Which of these two flagship watches do you prefer?

I think both look awesome, different characters (rugged vs bling), one of the best dial colours out there (classic vs modern), but I think one is more versatile when it comes to the outfit one wear. I think the explorer can go with any outfit, any wrist size, any occasion and it gives a sense of understatement (which may appeal to some).
