The dial options, including white, silver, champagne, blue, brown, and mother of pearl, provide a spectrum of styles ranging from understated elegance .
I would like to know the Yachtmaster 1 pros and cons as they appear quite an underrated piece. I personally the blue sundial face and contrasting bezel and find it a delightful and versatile watch. The red second hand and Yachtmaster on the dial also is appealing. Overall, these three dial offerings – platinum, blue, and rhodium – make this generation Yacht-Master some of the most interesting and unique watches within the Rolex catalog; no standard black or white dials here. Lesser changes include some thickening of lines, a bit darker tint of blue, and some added lume. Overall, the dial is exactly what you’d expect from Rolex. It’s superbly legible, displays the utility of the movement well, and is innately “Rolex”. Diminished capability. The Yacht-Master has only 100m of water resistance (down from the Sub's 300m) and a bi-directional bezel (potentially dangerous in a dive, since the bezel could rotate in a direction that suggests the diver has more oxygen left/more time remaining).
