However, logic suggests that if someone were to produce a fake burberry coat, they would not have produced an old "Burberry's" style . I have been browsing about authenticating and it seems like "Burberrys of London" could have been when production was done under US license. Otherwise, the trench coat looks in great condition, good quality. I hope the experts here can help confirm. I can't seem to nail down on the year either. No rain flap, so I am guessing not a proper vintage. It seems authentic, but the inner plaid design is not the trademark Burberry plaid. The vast majority of vintage Burberry trench coats I've seen have the trademark red, black and beige Burberry plaid lining. The vintage tags seem correct (I.e. I wonder if others have a similar experience, and . 1) Prorsum, the high fashion one, brainchild of Christopher Bailey, made in Italy/England. 2) London, the traditional British country/smart casual one, also made in Italy/England. 3) Brit, a more affordable, youthful line with often louder designs on the knits, polos, etc. Used more synthetic fabrics, made in China/Tha.
